This is a history of the ʿAbbāsī household, the Nawabs (rulers) of Bahawalpur - who claimed to be descendants of the Abbasid Caliphs - until the beginning of the reign of Muḥammad Bahāval Khān (r.1825-52), who was the commissioner of this work.
