Newspaper cuttings which have been pasted into seven large volumes dating from 1909 (the foundation of the RZSS) up till 1971. The newspaper cuttings contain stories and images from the history of the RZSS and other zoological matters occuring around Scotland.
Outgoing Animal Correspondence
Letters from those who wish to purchase animals from the RZSS collection. Requests for animals in 1947 include penguins for Prague Zoo, fallow dear, and monkeys for Iceland and Chessington.

The guide contains a fold out map of the zoo site, information on the RZSS council, hours and terms of admission to the park, feeding times, care of the animals, information on all the animals at the zoological park. The publication is full of photographs showing the animals at the zoo, the estate, and staff.
