Etymological and geographical note collected from Hector MacLeod, aged 85, at Caisteal Bhuirgh/Borve Castle, Lionacleit/Linaclate, Beinn na Faoghla/Benbecula stating that Creaga Loisgte got its name from being the place where kelp was first burnt, by an Irishman called Ruari na Luath.
