Scope and Contents Prayer entitled 'An t altacha Leaba' [An t-Altachadh Leapa or Beannachadh Leapa or Bed Blessing] collected from Archibald Currie, shoemaker, aged forty-six, Àird na Monadh, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist beginning 'Lai mis a noc le Muire le mac, Le mair mo Ri tha gam dhian o gach olc'. The accompanying note reads 'Said by most R[oman C[atholics] in lying down at night. Reciter said it since he was 15 y[ea]rs.' Text has been scored through in ink and written transversely across it is 'Transcribed...
