Song entitled 'Mhor a ghaoil' collected from Mairi Dhonullach [Mary MacDonald], Miùghlaigh/Mingulay, beginning 'Dh'eirich mi moch dh'eir eir moch, Ach mu dh'eirich b fhearr nach dh eirich'. The song is composed of fifteen lines, one of which has been written transversely in the gutter of the notebook. The text has been scored through in ink and carries amendments. Written transversely across the text in ink is 'Copied June 16 1869 A[lexander] A[rchibald] C[armichael]'.
