The cuttings were taken from the following publications, Oban Times, Glasgow Herald, Peoples Journal, Northern Chronicle, Perthshire Advertiser, Northern Ensign and the Highland News.

The cuttings are contained in three envelopes, addressed to the Rev Charles M. Robertson, Jura, Islay and Ullapool.
