In front of the catalogue is a list of benefactors to the Library and Latin dedications to the Lord Provost & Town Council and to Principal Rule. At the end are lists of the contents of a chest 'at Ostium Bibliothecae Orientale posita', some anatomical specimens and 'icones virorum illustrium'.
