Scope and Contents Two stories from the Battle of Culloden collected from Donald MacColl, [foxhunter, Glencreran, Earra GhĂ idheal/Argyllshire], about his grandfather, Duncan MacColl who fought with James Stewart of Fasnacloich. The first story tells how James was wounded and that a 'side ball' [bullet] carried away the sheath of his dagger from its hilt. The second story says that while Duncan was going uphill with others they were attacked by MacKenzies and he was wounded. Alexander Stewart of Invernahyle...
