Scope Note: Notes = A neoplasm derived from blood vessels, characterized by numerous prominent endothelial cells that occur singly, in aggregates, and as the lining of congeries of vascular tubes or channels. Hemangioendotheliomas are relatively rare and are of intermediate malignancy (between benign hemangiomas and conventional angiosarcomas). Typed case summary, reports, charts and correspondence relating to male patient from Scotland (outside Edinburgh and the Lothians) aged 31 at first examination in 1953. Conditions mentioned include: facial paralysis; nystagmus; dysarthria; tremor; aphasia; glomus jugulare tumour; angioendotheliomatous tumour; and papilloeema. Surgical and nonsurgical treatment given. Patient discharged.
