"A terrible problem, defective and paralysed, sent to the Special class but would not go. Very jerky and unnatural. Nurse confirms he is a bad one, had infantile paralysis, spoilt, just at home, never made to do a thing. Seen by PSW - looks like a high grade. One sibling has had a dirty head since she had mastoid. Dr - had infantile paralysis, has a vile temper. Mother about 40."

"A want about him, over polite. Used to take out the basting threads at the tailors, now is a packman. Played the organ but wasn't any good. Big house, clean, not overcrowded. Dr says he is MD and neurotic, can work at tailoring, a grand musician. Siblings are OK."
