Intelligence quotient (IQ) scores are commonly used to determine whether an individual has an intellectual disability. IQ scores between 70 and 79 are in the borderline range. Scope and Contents "Patient is an illegitimate child. Mother died when she was 14 years, was easy-going, dropsy. "This patient was in the CR for 2 1/2 years. The notes in her casebook describe her as feeble-minded and apparently suffering from a similar ataxia to the present one. In addition, at that time she passed through a psychotic phase when she was resistive and refused her food. Since then she has been living as a boarded out patient doing simple housework. She is facile, euphoric and lacking insight....
