"This little boy is a nisance at school, swears, very rough, difficult when he first came. Was slapped and sworn at by his father. [Female informant] does not remember this child but says it is very likely he is at least backward. [Female informant] says he is the most backward child she has ever encountered. His mother says her children can read but you can't hear them."
