"This child is slow, does not seem to take things in. Mother a peculiar type, the children don't seem to matter to her; they don't have dinner. Both have skin eruptions - teacher thinks owing to lack of nourishing food. Under 30. Father a farm worker. Childern are very clean and tidy and well dressed. Incomers Nurse confirms. The house is fairly clean, but the mother is more interested in the children's clothes than their health."
