"Occupation: Farm work, repaired cycles, drove van, hotel porter etc. Diagnosis: Anxiety state, recent, moderate. Patient is an only son. Parents both alive and well but mother had "nervous breakdown" - anxious and depressed for 3 months. Complaints: Attacks of tachycardia several times a day. Anxiety and depression for same period. This patient has had gonorrhoea."
