Custom of 'Oiche an Da Shuiper' [The Night of the Two Suppers], which was held on 22 June each year. In Cataibh/Sutherland there was a supper at nine o'clock and another at midnight. Fragment of a verse collected from Angus MacAulay, aged 82, An Cnoc/Knock, Eilean Leòdhais/Isle of Lewis beginning 'Cuim tug mi cion don fhear ud, Do Mhurchaidh mear mac MhicLeod'. The verse is composed of six lines. The accompanying note reads 'Stra[th] Leoid bet[ween] Ullapool &Catao[bh]' [possibly Bealach Beinn Leòid, Ulapul, both Ros is Cromba/Ross and Cromarty and Cataibh/Sutherland].
