Scope and Contents Pencil drawing of a frontosphenotemporal craniotomy to reveal a tumour pressing on the optic chiasm. Before and after drawings are provided of the removal of mass. The mass is most likely a tumour of the pituitary pressing on the optic chiasm, and likely causing a bitemporal hemianopia. Dott was known for his groundbreaking work in craniopharyngiomas of the hypothalamus/pituitary gland – however, a lack of annotations on the illustration makes distinguishing the exact tumour pathology...
