The correspondence chiefly concerns Norman's Castle, dun Easter Stanhope, the farmhouse at Easter Stanhope, Broad and Dollar Laws and the fort at Wester Stanhope. Also contains correspondence with the Nature Conservancy Council about the Tweedsmuir Hills and the River Tweed.
