Correspondence between representatives of the Service Arts and Technical Organization (SATO) and the Association of Building Technicians (ABT). These relate to the acquisition of books for the SATO Polytechnic courses in town planning, and efforts to gain official army recognition for SATO courses with the aid of the ABT. The file includes some pamphlets published by the ABT

A number of publications by the Association of Architects, Surveyors and Technical Assistants (AASTA), later the Association of Building Technicians (ABT) collected by Percy Johnson-Marshall. Some of these relate to employment law and conditions but the majority are concerned with the construction of air raid shelters and the evacuation of children during World War II
