Note about Caisteal Bheagram [Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] describing its condition, position and composition. A fragment of a song is included beginning 'Thainic slauri dhu a nuas' and the title of another song [possibly the same song] 'Tha pairt an Eilean Bheagram dhiu', which Carmichael notes as being 'included in Carruther's edition of Boswells Tour'.
