Lyell praises Lesley's diagrams showing the complexity of the Appalachians. The second letter [numbered in the folios first] is written by Arabella Buckley, summarised as 'Faults in Appalachians, Hull on Permian overlying Coal-measures Medlicott theory of mountain...
