The phrase "Liefde doet dolen" was a motto of a Dutch merchant named Frans Willemsz (1563?-1623) (http://www.lustigegeesten.nl/prosopografie/prosopografie_more.php?search_fd0=H539). He is known to have written this motto in books that he owned, so this mansucript MS66 may have once belonged to him.
