Biography

The earliest mention of Fr. Leonini de Padua is as a definitor of the Marca Trevigiana at a chapter-general of the Augustinian order which met in Venice during 1332. He taught theology at Padua and is thought to have died some time around 1360. Fr. Leonini compiled an abbreviation of the De regimine principum composed by the Augustinian Egidio Romano and also wrote a Decas Loyca, and an illuminated manuscript of this work was in the Augustinians' library at Padua in the seventeenth century.
