An excellent copy (seven volumes bound in one) in good preservation of the famous work on general history, composed around the turn of the 16th century C.E., by Muḥammad b. Khāvandshāh b. Maḥmūd, “Mīrkhānd”.

This MS comprises the first two juz', or parts, of the third volume of the well-known general history, which was originally written in 927-930 A.H. (1521-1524 C.E.), by the grandson of Mīrkhānd who had completed Rawz̤at al-ṣafāʼ (see Or Ms 71), Ghiyās al-Dīn, known as Khānd-Amīr.

Scope and Contents A descriptive account of the city of Shustar, to which is appended a story of the life and travels of the author, 'Abd al-Laṭīf b. Abī Ṭālib b. Nūr al-Dīn b. Ni'mat-allāh al-Ḥusayn al-Mūsavī al-Shūstarī. The author compiled this work in India, dedicated to, and named it after, the Sayyid Abū al-Qāsim b. Scope and Contents This is a valuable short history of Persia from the earliest times to 674 A.H. (1275-1276 C.E.), by Naṣir al-Dīn 'Abd-allāh b. 'Umar al-Bayḍāwī who purportedly died at Tabriz in 1319 C.E., although his death date is disputed, and who is also celebrated for his commentary upon the Qur'ān.
