Scope and Contents A lithograph showing St. Mungo's Cathedral, Glasgow. Lithographer, David Roberts. This is possibly a reproduction of 'Defence of the Cathedral by the Trades' House in 1579 during the Reformation'. This is an idealised picture showing the mob attacking the Cathedral, presumably at the time of the Reformation, but the troops on the left and Highlanders in the centre appear Victorian.
