Scope and Contents Manuscript fragment, with two sections of text, author unknown. The first section begins with a copy of an extract from John Gibson Lockhart's Peter's Letters to his Kinsfolk. Content centres on Walter Scott, and begins 'His manners are simple [and] unassuming...'.Second section of text describes the landscape and scenery on the approach to Abbotsford. Two illustrative engravings are pasted in. The first engraving shows Abbotsford, drawn by R. Westall...
