Biography

Dip. Social Study 1954. Awarded the James Carruthers Memorial Prize for best student 1953/54. Title of thesis: "Thesis: "Social Security in St. Lucia with special reference to the difficulties encountered in setting up organised Social Services in an under-developed area". Married Charles Owen King, an Edinburgh University medical graduate from Saint Lucia in 1951. Anne King was awarded the Saint Lucia Medal of Merit in 2005 for services to education.
