Letter to Mary Gardner Grierson from Sir Donald Francis Tovey, c1936
Letter, [1936], London, Donald Tovey to Mary Grierson. Plans for forthcoming concerts. Holograph signed.
Photographs of Frederick Delius and Percy Grainger, 1927
The photographs are mounted together on a cardboard frame, and are captioned 'Delius at Grez-sur-Loing, Gordon Bryan, 1927'. One photograph shows Frederick Delius sitting in a chair in his garden, with one of his German nurse reading to him; the second photograph shows a young man in the same garden who could be Percy Grainger (Australian-born composer, arranger and pianist who was a staunch admirer of Delius); and the third is just a overall view of the garden.
