Scope and Contents This collection consists of three volumes containing notes from lecture in agriculture given by Professor Andrew Coventry, first Professor of Agriculture in Great Britain (appointed in 1790), taken down by James Stirling, 7th laird of Garden, Stirlingshire, and grandson of mathematician James Stirling.The first volume starts with "Lectures on Agriculture Introductory.
