Chalmers writes regarding the arrangements to take charge of a geological station in Aberdeen, in connection with Professor Alleyne Nicholson. Nicholson will be unable to take charge of the station that year, but he is willing to do so the following year. In the meantime, Ewart is to begin running the station himself, and to send Chalmers a statement of receipt and expenditure.
