Scope and Contents
Typed case summary, notes, reports, charts, autopsy reports and correspondence relating to male from Scotland (outside Edinburgh and the Lothians) aged 52 at first examination in 1951. Conditions mentioned include: paraplegia; meningo-myelitis; loin pain; infected bladder; enlarged prostate; spinal tumour; vomiting; ulcers; bedsores; oedemas; faeces and urine incontinence; nausea; thrombophlebitis; sacral pressure sores; mitral stenosis; pulmonary congestion; bilateral hydronephrosis; and severe chronic cystitis; syphilis. Surgical and nonsurgical treatment given. Patient died in hospital.
