 sub-subseries
Identifier: Coll-1586/F/1/F.31-F.35

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This sub-series chiefly contains notes for public and invitation lectures by Martin Rivers Pollock. There are also a few lectures delivered within the University of Edinburgh but these appear to be 'one-off' lectures to other departments rather than part of a regular teaching course.

Most of the material consists of manuscript notes for the lecture, usually giving headings of main points, examples, and some outline text. Many have indications of slides to be used, referred to by a reference number. Some of the notes have an indication of date and some include a note of the place where the lecture was delivered but comparatively few identify the precise occasion or audience.
