World Tour, September - December 1957, 1956-1958

This sub-subseries consists of 5 files containing material relating to Martin Rivers Pollock's world tour. In December 1956, Martin Rivers Pollock was invited to attend the International Symposium on Enzyme Chemistry to be held in Japan in October 1957. He took the opportunity to combine his visit with visits prior to the Symposium to colleagues in Israel, India, China and elsewhere in the Far East. His return from Japan took Pollock to the USA, where he visited research centres throughout the country during November. See Coll-1586/1/G.9 for Pollock’s reports on his travels.
