The material consists of Questionnaire and data on attitudes to 'Pure Science', dated 1976 and material found in a folder inscribed 'Pure Science forms'. Martin Rivers Pollock gathered this information from colleagues in Edinburgh for a paper he was preparing. It was found with the British Society for Social Responsibility in Science (BSSRS) material, although the relationship between the paper and the BSSRS is not clear.
