Administrative or Biographical History
Knox worked with Pollock in the Emergency Public Health Laboratory Service during the Second World War. After the war he continued with the Public Health Laboratory Service before being appointed to a Chair in the Department of Bacteriology, Guy's Hospital Medical School.
