Story about John Macinnon [John MacKinnon], Dirioscal [Dirascal, Na Hearadh/Isle of Harris] who used to take food regularly to 'Ua Ulladall [Uamh Ulladail/Cave of Ulladale] to old MacLeod of Bearn[araigh]. The old man Don[ald] was for the Prince + his son Norman against the Prince' [Bonnie Prince Charlie]. MacKinnon is noted as having been sent as an orphan to Diriscal with Calum mac Dhonuil [Calum mac Dhòmhnaill] grandfather of Malcolm and Mr MacAulay's gamekeeper, with whom he lived for twelve years.
