Scope and Contents
Song entitled 'Lorg an Ogain' [Seathan Mac Rìgh Beirbh or John, Son of the King of Bergen] collected from Donacha Mac an Liallain [Duncan MacLellan], crofter, Iocar [Iochdar, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] beginning 'Lorg an ogain seach an t-ath, Ceum an rothaidh 's e ro dhiann'. The text has been scored through in ink and a transverse note on folio 10r reads 'Transcribed this 12th Nov[ember] 1870 into MS Book No 4 page 10th A[lexander]. A[rchibald]. C[armichael].' Two annotations have been added in ink.
