Song entitled 'Lorg an Ogain' [Seathan Mac Rìgh Beirbh or John, Son of the King of Bergen] collected from Aonas Mac Aonais [Angus MacInnes], crofter, Smearclait [Smeircleit/Smerclete, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist] beginning 'Lorg an ogain seach an t-ath, Air ceum romhath tha ro-dhian'. The text has been scored through in ink and a transverse note on folio 10r reads 'Transcribed into MS Book No 4 page 7. 12 Nov[ember] 1870 A[lexander]. A[rchibald]. C[armichael].' Two annotations have been added in ink.
