Story about 'cli[ar]-sheanachain' probably collected from Duncan MacNiven, retired schoolmaster, Airds Earra GhĂ idheal/Argyllshire that when twelve cliar-sheanachain [itinerant band/sorners] came to Iain Beag Mac a Chombaich [John Colquhoun?] that he had to kill 'a stirk a calf or cow'. Text has been scored through as if transcribed elsewhere.
