This section of the manuscript contains an extract of Legenda Aurea (Golden Legend), a compilation of biographies of saints, or hagiographies, widely read in the late Middle Ages. The text was compiled around 1260 by Jacobus da Varagine (c. 1230-1298), an Italian chronicler and archbishop of Genoa.

Text: starts imperfectly on f. 90r with the following words: ante decime etatis sue anno pontifex publice nuntiavit. And ends imperfectly on f. 101v with the following words: consistit in ferventi dileccione.
