Meditationes Vitae Christi [incomplete] by Pseudo-Bonaventure
Contents
This section of the manuscript contains chapters I-XVI of Meditationes Vitae Christi or Meditationes de Vita Christi, usually translated into English as Meditations on the Life of Christ or The Mirror of the Blessed Life of Jesus Christ. It is a devotional religious text, fairly popular in the late Middle Ages. The text was wrongly attributed to Bonaventure (1221-1274) up until the 19th century. Its precise date of creation and authorship are still under debate, but recent studies point to Jacobus de Sancto Geminiano around 1300.
