This part of the manuscript contains De Anima by Flavius Magnus Aurelius Cassiodorus Senator (c. 485 – c. 585), commonly known as Cassiodorus. He was a Roman public official and writer of philosophical and theological texts. De Anima is a philosophical/theological treatise that approaches the problem of the characteristics and functions of the human soul, its relation to the body, and its connection to the divine realm.
