Poem titled "On hearing Miss Catherine Hays [sic], sing "Kathleen Mavourneen!" by Crofton Gray" in the hand of Louisa Matilda Crawford. "Kathleen Mavourneen" was Crawford's most successful song, set to music by composer Frederick Crouch and hugely popularised in America by Irish soprano Catherine Hayes on her international tour.
