The hand is unmistakably Louisa Crawford's but phrases such as "us men" and references to a "Miles Mallory" suggest she may be using a pseudonym. The text starts in the middle of a sentence suggesting it may be missing its first page(s). A crossed letter, some of the text is overlayed and difficult to read.
