Biographical / Historical
Genetical Research was established at Waddington's instigation by Cambridge University Press in 1960, in response to the need for a British genetics publication following the relocation of the Journal of Genetics to India in 1959, under the editorship of J.B.S Haldane. Waddington was Chairman of the Editorial Board from the Journal's inception in 1960 until his death.
