Scope and Contents
The press clippings chiefly cover aspects of research connected to the ARC Unit of Animal Genetics and Beatty's publications. From 1957-1959, the press cuttings are attached to Cambridge University Press compliment slips. Later clippings, which include photocopied full-length articles, are chiefly concerned with Robert G. Edwards' work on in vitro fertilisation. Also present are some items of correspondence between Beatty and The Times, Nature and Grampian Television Ltd (February-April 1970) and a typescript of a letter from Beatty to Nature titled 'Human eggs in a mass-communication culture'.
