Scope and Contents
The bulk of this correspondence relates to Crawford’s professional career as a songwriter, including letters between herself and music publishers Leoni Lee, Leader and Cock, Addision and Hollier, D’Almaine and Co., and Chappell and Co. Also included are letters to Editors of Blackwood’s Edinburgh Magazine, The Morning Post, The Lady’s Monthly Magazine, the Eddowes Shrewbury Journal and Fraser’s Magazine, as well as correspondence with composers Sidney Nelson and Edward Clare.
