This section of the manuscript contains the text Soliloquium seu Meditationes by Eckbert (12th century AD), a Benedictine abbot of the Abbey of Schönau. The Soliloquium offers 18 prayers or meditations praising the love of Jesus Christ. It has been wrongly attributed to several other authors, including Richard of Saint Victor and Anselm of Canterbury (meditatio XIII).

The text starts on f. 1r with the following words: Verbum mihi est ad te, O rex seculorum, and ends on f. 6r with the following words: et solidum regnum permanens in secula seculorum Amen. Eya benedico claritas horum et gloria tibi sit domine deus meus miserere nostri Amen.
