This part of the manuscript contains the text Speculum Monachorum (also Speculum interioris hominis, Speculum monasticum, Speculum super emendacionem vite hominis religionis) by Arnoul de Bohéries (d. 1149), also known as Arnulfus de Boeriis, a Cistercian from the dioceses of Louvain. The Speculum Monachorum is a treatise written as guidance for monks in their monastic life, composed in the form of short aphorisms. The text was wrongly attributed to Bernard of Clairvaux.

The text starts on f. 8v with the following words: Si quis emendacionis vite desiderio, and ends on f. 10v with the following words: quasi ipse et deus sint soli. Explicit. Explicit.
