Fragments of a missal, 12th century
Scope and Contents
Four small sections (2 roughly 21cm X 6cm, another ~16.5cm X 5.5cm, and one 14.5cm X 7.75cm at it's widest point) of a noted Missal. Three of the fragments form parts of a leaf containing the middle of the Passion on Tuesday to end of Introit on Wednesday in Holy Week. The other fragment is part of the 1st Prophecy on Easter Even. Two of the fragments of the Passion to Introit on Wednesday on Holy Week obviously fit together (see picture). The final line pf text on the third fragment of this leaf is [...] requieuit die septimo. It's hard to tell which side of each fragment is recto/verso.
