This section of the manuscript contains the Formula vitae honestae (Rules for an Honest Life) by Martin of Braga. It was originally written in the 6th century, in what is now Portugal, and is about the Four Cardinal Virtues.

It is titled Incipit libellus martini episcopi ad mironem regem gallicie and begins on f.30r with the words Gloriosissimo ac tranquillissimo.

It ends on f. 34r with the words aut deficientem contempnat ignaviam. Explicit. Another 14th-century hand has inserted liber qui vocatur formula vite honeste in the margin to complete this “explicit”.
